AGM ANNOUNCEMENT and CHANGE OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
November 13, 2007

At the Annual General Meeting of Strike Minerals Inc. (the “Company”) held October 31, 2007, all the resolutions set out in full in the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated October 1, 2007 were duly passed. These approvals included authorization to issue up to 15 million common shares for the purpose of private placement financing of the Company’s mining exploration program; authorization to issue up to 5 million common shares for the purpose of asset acquisition; and authorization to adopt the Company’s Stock Option Plan; all more specifically described in the Company’s Management Information Circular, dated September 16, 2007.
At the AGM, Chairman Denis Crane made the following statements.

“The Company has announced its intention to carry out an active mining exploration and, if warranted, a development program at its Edwards Mine and Kittson-Cobalt properties. This may require substantial capital. It is intended to access the equity markets both by way of “hard dollars” and “flow through” share offerings to secure the required financing.”

“Currently, our Edwards Mine property has the makings of a company builder. However, with additional information, it may be advisable to consolidate this property with others in the camp, or along structure, or otherwise, so as to build a viable integrated property suitable for economic exploitation. Acquisitions remain our focus for the coming financial year, and the Company will use equity for the right acquisition.”

CHANGE OF CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Strike Minerals Inc. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that in order to improve corporate governance practices and to comply with the Toronto Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Guidelines which stipulate that the roles of chairman and chief executive officer should be separate and should not be performed by the same individual, with effect from 1st November, 2007:
Mr. Denis Crane relinquished his role as the Chairman of the Board and has been designated as President and Chief Executive Officer; and
Ms. Wendy Kimmel has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board and a Non-Executive Director of the Company.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Denis Crane for his valuable contributions as the Chairman of the Board during the past years and welcome him to his continuing role as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

As at the date of this announcement, the Board comprises Mr. Denis Crane, President and CEO, Mr. Bruce Furtney, Secretary/Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bruce Edgar, Mr. Gord Paget, Independent and Non-Executive Director and Ms. Wendy Kimmel, Independent, Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board.
